Be sure to check out the Mountain Top Kite Festival, a free community event held at the Rice Township Park. Guests are invited to bring the whole family for a jam-packed day of fun!
Each child receives a free kite kit to decorate, assemble and learn to fly at the Mountain Top Kite Festival. But the activities don’t stop there - theres plenty to enjoy, like the zip line, face painting, bounce house, balloon animals, and live music scheduled!
There will also be silent auctions and basket raffles, with all proceeds from the festival going to Ruth's Place, the only emergency shelter and care management center for homeless women in Luzerne County. Come out and fly a kite and join the festivities for a good cause!
