Nurture Your Green Thumb with Nursery and Demonstration Garden Tours

Join Edge of the Woods staff for a guided tour of demonstration gardens at the nursery.

Each week brings a new delight of blooms, insects, birds, and other wonders of nature. We’ll scout the gardens for inspiration, butterflies, garden visitors and other surprises that present themselves to us. Attendees will learn about the importance of native plants to our eco-system. The tour is informal and allows time for questions. This is a great way to be introduced to native plants.

The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the group and the number of questions. We are informal so you may leave whenever you need to.

Donations for the tour will be used to support Edge of the Woods demonstration gardens, American Chestnut Orchard, and our Habitat Program which helps organizations create community habitat gardens. Your support is greatly appreciated.

A small service fee is removed from your online donation to cover Eventbrite services. Donations are also accepted 'at the door'

Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why B’nai B’rith Apartments in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event!
