This Band Is Starting a Musical Revolution – Join Them for a Night of Entertainment on Friday
In 2019, the United States of America feels ripe for a musical uprising. Divided more than ever in its 242-year history over systemic issues, the time for change is now. The band is Fever 333. Check them out live at the F.M. Kirby Center on Friday, September 27th.
Comprised of vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, drummer Aric Improta, and guitarist Stephen Harrison, the Los Angeles trio mix gnashing guitars, guttural beats, and brazenly bold bars for a hard-hitting hybrid of hip-hop, punk, and activism.
“The movement is much greater than the music,” exclaims Butler. “The art is only a contingent piece. We make it ostensibly clear that everything we do is in an active effort for change. It’s about bringing back that socio-political mindfulness. We’re trying to write the soundtrack to the revolution that we know is about to happen.”
Fever 333 made their live debut—quite appropriately—on July 4, 2017. They hijacked the parking lot of infamous L.A. staple Randy’s Donuts. This “Political Pool Party” preceded the storm to come. In the end, the revolution truly starts with Fever 333.
Since opening its doors 20 years ago, the F. M. Kirby Center's cumulative audience has been more than 2.5 million people. These audiences have witnessed a broad spectrum of attractions, ranging from grand opera to a cattle auction, from Broadway musicals to 18th Century dramas, from musicians to comedians, from ballet to acrobats, from magicians to ice skaters, plus the Young People's Theater which annually attracts as many as 10,000 pre-kindergarten through grade 12 students.
Tickets to see Fever 333 are on sale now and can be purchased at the Sundance Vacations Box Office at the F.M. Kirby Center, by phone at (570) 826-1100 and online at www.kirbycenter.org.
