A global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for over 40 years, Jesus Christ Superstar is a timeless work set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. The rock opera debuted on Broadway in 1971 and is loosely based on the Gospel account of the last week of Jesus' life, ending with his crucifixion. The award-winning music includes the well-known songs, "Everything's Alright," "I Don't Know How to Love Him," and "Hosanna."

This show will be performed live by the Misericordia University Players.
