Working Woman Is a Timely Film by Director Michal Aviad—Do Not Miss It

On Wednesday, August 28th, F.M. Kirby Center is inviting you to watch Working Woman” with us!

In this timely foreign film from Israel, Orna returns to the workplace to help support her family Orna, landing a job with a former army superior who is now a successful real estate developer. While Orna embraces her new position and tries to balance its demands with her home life, she begins to experience escalating harassment from her boss.

Her rapid rise through the ranks and her increasing financial success seem to parallel a pattern of behavior which ultimately brings her career and marital relationship to the brink. This timely and devastating story is expertly told by long-time feminist filmmaker Michal Aviad. Working Woman is will run for approximately 93 minutes.

Since opening its doors 20 years ago, the F. M. Kirby Center's cumulative audience has been more than 2.5 million people.
