A Night of Opera: Aida at the State Theatre Center For The Arts

Teatro Lirico D’Europa presents Giuseppe Verdi’s AIDA, the operatic masterpiece about the love and loyalty of an Ethiopian Princess who is brought into slavery and Egyptian commander who enslaves her. The opera’s story, but not its music, was used as the basis for a 1998 musical of the same name written by Elton John and Tim Rice. With15 consecutive seasons of major world-wide tours, the popular European opera touring company, Teatro Lirico D’Europa, has completed over 3,000 performances. In Italian with English subtitles.
