Lou Christie has had a multi-million selling career. Known for The Gypsy Cried, Two Faces Have I, Lighting Strikes, Rhapsody In the Rain, I'm Gonna Make You Mine. From teen idol to rock n roll legend, lighting strikes again, and again, and again. The legend and the legacy of the Duprees continues today. Their first million seller was You Belong to Me. The unmistakable sound was born and the hits kept coming. Other songs - My Own True Love, Why Don't You Believe Me, Have You Heard.
The Happenings virtually exploded onto the national charts in May 1966 with See You in September, to become an international #1 record through-out the summer. The followed with Go Away Little Girl, I Got Rhythm, My Mammy and more. In 1958, the Chantels second single, Maybe, sold over a million copies - followed by Look in My Eyes, I Love You So, He's Gone and more. They are considered by many to have been the best female vocal group of all time.
