A classic tale by Roald Dahl, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory tells the story of Charlie Bucket, a poor child who finds a chocolatier’s golden ticket. The golden ticket grants him an all-access pass to the famous factory, but his morality is tested when a mysterious man offers a reward in exchange for Wonka’s newest treat: the Everlasting Gobstopper.
A story with heart, Sing For America has chosen to bring the classic tale to the stage just in time for the holidays. Explore themes of wealth and suffering, price and value, and the importance of perseverance and at the Mauch Chunk Opera House’s Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
